Source for the encoder

The big knob on the left of my TM-D700 is slowly get erratic (readout jumps back and forth whenever I rotate the knob), and lately sometimes I don't feel the clicking feedback.

Anybody has the source of the encoder ?

According to the schematic in the service manual (page 66, area C3), the part number is K29-9409-03.

Here are a couple of links:

You may also be able to remove the original, get the manufacturer part number off of it and find alternative suppliers such as DigiKey or Mouser.

While it's probably a failing encoder, have you tried cleaning it first?

I love this series of radio. I have the Tm-v7a as well. Same encoder. 
If you expect to keep this rig alive longer, you might be better to find a dead unit on ebay for parts.
PacParts is otherwise best bet.
