Does anyone know where would be a good place to acquire a puck type magnetic gps with the proper cables for connection and power for a D700A.  No one seems to carry this stuff anymore specifically for a D700-710...................thanks............WA2NAN -  Kerry

Have your tried Argent Data Systems? https://www.argentdata.com/

Last spring I purchased a GPS-18 hockey puck with a cigarette lighter
plug and a the proper plug for a TM-D700 in my daughter's car. I don't
know if they are still carrying them but worth dropping them a line.
They are always excellent to work with.

Try contacting Byon at:
http://www.byonics.com/contact.php

He is very helpful and I got cables and a puck (non magnetic, but one could be added)  from him for my D 700 at Quartzfest last year.
Works great.

Used a Byonics GPS receiver on my last 700 install. Made a short 9pin cable to add the required 5volt signal to the GPS unit. Online they are found here; Byonics - MicroTrak

Purchased a Byonics GPS for the TinyTrak4, that is compatable with D700 & D710 (to get started on How APRS works and when I upgrade to the RC-D710 Faceplate for my TM-V71A)

Works great, has Magnet on Back to attach High in Vehicle or even on Roof for Best GPS Reception... (if no metal surface aroumd, use a Large Binder Clip)

Fast acquisition.of satellites that is shown by Blue LED on the small Puck
