Is there a way of overriding APRS beacon lat/lon coordinates with specified, rather than dynamic ones from internal GPS? Alternatively, is there a way of disabling internal GPS altogether? Thanks Leo / M0XER
yes, I use the free program MCP-2A from Kenwood: EDIT MENU APRS/NAVITRA PAGE 2 CHANNEL IN USE (e.g.1) (under channel 1 edit): NAME (your callsign) LATITUDE LONGITUDE GS (your locator e.g. JN33pn)
close save upload into the transceiver
