Review of Radio
I'm considering purchasing a D700, and was wondering what the general
consensus is of the radio. With both mobile and fixed station use,
how does it fare?
Thanks!

So far I love my new radio. I can receive the APRS packets just fine,
well everyone's except mine.
That would lend me to believe that I am not "sending" them. I have

The latest issue of QST (May 2000) has a fairly in-depth review of the TM-D700a. You might want to check it out.

Re: Aircraft band
I’vefound that what band you have on the B side will determine what bands you canselect on the A side, if that’s any help. Try changing the B side to a different band, then set the A side to118.
