Mounting of control head
Has anyone mounted the control head of a TMD700A on a goose neck?
Are there any preferences as to which goose neck to buy? Any plusses or minuses
for this kind of mounting?

Has anybody been able to send an e-mail with their 700a? If so, how

Re: Rand Mcnally GPS
I also did this using the Rand McNally, although you can run the GPS receiver on 13.8V without a problem. They have been tested to 16V without issues. You'll need some velcro to keep the receiver

Just ordered a TM-D700A, and was wondering what the proper mod is for

Scan speed TM-D700 vs. FT-90
I have a couple of Yaesu FT-90s already, but I might be in the market for
another transceiver soon. Does anyone know what the scan speed of the
TM-D700 is compared to the FT-90?

Re: DeLorme Earthmate and GPS receivers
The Pharos unit is very small, cheap, and works well with the D700. I know,
I've got one and it's excellent.

Re: DeLorme Earthmate and GPS receivers
Tomy knowledge, the Earthmate doesn’t have and option for standard NMEA output, whichthe D700 requires. I know theTripmate will work though….
