Re: Full Reset on D710GA ?
Tony,
I did the Full-Reset. Decoded no packets off ,CH-A, 144.390 overnight.
However, I had CH-B on 145.825 for Sat's and did copy RS0ISS traffic.
CH-B is the External and is read through SignaLink

Re: D-700 as a Simple Stand-Alone Digipeater
Thanks Mark,
Good info.
The 700 info seems to be discussing mobile radios as digipeaters. While I'm trying to set up a mobile radio as a digi, it will be used as a local permanent digi on a hilltop

Good Evening Bob, if you are not already familiar with it, you might benefit from looking thru:
http://aprs.org/D7xx/d700-faq.txt as there is a bit of discussion of setting up the 700 to Digi.

What Are "Packet Filter Types" on the APRS1 Settings page?
While using APRSIS32 with my D710GA, I was noticing I wasn't seeing any APRS decodes coming out of the 710.
I had CH1 on 144.390. I had CH2 on 145.825 and that CH output being read by AGWPE/UISS .. I

That's my gut instinct, as well, but I was hoping someone would have inside information to the contrary. It's worth a try, so I sent the attached email to Kenwood amateur radio support just now.

Has anyone heard any rumors about Kenwood adding FX.25 support (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FX.25_Forward_Error_Correction) to the firmware for the D700/710? The next release of Direwolf (V1.6)

How do I override internal GPS position with fixed coordinates in TM-D710G
Is there a way of overriding APRS beacon lat/lon coordinates with specified, rather than dynamic ones from internal GPS?
Alternatively, is there a way of disabling internal GPS altogether?
Thanks
