SpaceX to return NASA 'nauts to Earth with a splash this Sunday

George N2APB

In brief NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine confirmed last week that the
intrepid SpaceX duo, astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley, would be
departing the International Space Station (ISS) on 1 August, with a
splashdown of the Crew Dragon capsule targeted for 2 August.

The exact date will depend on the weather. Unlike the Space Shuttle and
Soyuz, SpaceX's capsule cannot return to land and must be recovered from the
ocean, Apollo-style.

Performance is pretty good, per the video review.   Lots of opinions on Google.

For me, personally, I would go with an Elecraft KX2 for about the same investment.  US-made.  Proven performance.

But just my 2-cents.

The price doesn't look too bad, although I am not really that familiar with pricing on QRP rigs. Just wondering how it performs? Or has anyone heard any reviews or know of someone who has one?

On another note, ICOM has a new QRP rig that is supposed to be available soon, if it's not out already. I've seen pictures but not heard anything about it as far as price or performance. Anyone else?

Maybe one of these would be a good present to self for retirement...........
