Kenwood TS 930
Hi Y'all,
Anyone up for a project? I have a TS 930 that has low output. Power supply voltage is good so I don't know if it's a bad contact or I fried something. Really love the radio and would like to get it back on the air. Don't want to send it out and will reimburse for your trouble. Thanks Rob Deyo K4MBZ

Morder code ninja is good. Also, CWops has plenty of CW Academy CW resources (e.g. audi files) you can download to listen to. However, nothing beats real on-the-air practice in the novice bands. Especially the 40 mtr band day and night. It just takes Practice
Practice Practice!

Brad,
Actually, downtown Lenoir City will be closed off from Kingston Street to “C” Street, cars, lined up along the curbs, vendors and exhibits down the center of the road. It’s the Annual Fall Festival…….happens every year. I was hoping to get TLARC involved in this by setting up a booth….might be a good way to show off the Club.

TN QSO Party
Juan Lopez
TLARC Members,
The QSO Party starts at 2:00 pm EST today and runs to 11:00 pm EST. Make an effort to get on as many bands and modes to hand out QSOs. You can work both out of state and instate stations. There are quite a few people that will also be county hunters. Please
visit TNQP.org to review the rules and suggested frequencies for today. This makes it easy for others to find you calling CQ TN QSO PARTY. Remember to submit your log with credit to TELLIOC LAKE ARC.
Look for me on all bands operating CW and SSB using the club call KN4DUA from Hamilton County.
Please spot me if you hear me.

Good antenna book from MFJ
Hi all,
If you haven't seen it yet, MFJ Enterprises is offering a free 160-page PDF book called "73 Dipole and Long-Wire Antennas". All you need to do is sign up for their free email newsletter - good deals are often offered and you can cancel it later if desired.
It's an old book (1992) but these kind of antennas don't change much 😉 Here (attached) is a page from the Table of Contents. Good stuff.

Re: TN QSO Party
I would beg to differ. FT8 and FT4 are acceptable digital modes, however, ALL digital modes are equivalent. If you work someone on FT8 on 20m, you can't work them again in RTTY, because you've already worked them on 20m "digital." I plan on using FT8, possibly FT4, and maybe even do some SSB. Now as for how to configure it... I'm still working on that part. 🤔 From the TNQP.org rules: QSO Points: On Wed, Sep 1, 2021 at 10:47 PM Juan Lopez <jloz34@...> wrote:
