There is indeed a system called Rail4, but it is SBB intranet based and only available to staff, it is similar to our TOPS systems.

This site pretends to have real time info:
<https://www.zugverfolgung.com/sbb-schweizerische-bundesbahn>

But the abovementioned IR15 is shown with +1, so obviously not very correct.

Another train currently running late is IC6 that should arrive in Bern at 20:24, but has +12. This one is correctly on zugverfolgung.com

trains.

Is there anything similar in Switzerland?
Similar to what I have found above? Yes, several
<http://fahrplan.sbb.ch/bin/stboard.exe/dn?ld=std3.a&> (if delay > 2min)
<http://www.timeforcoffee.ch/> (not very helpful for big stations as it's difficult to sort out buses and trams)
staions app (only for iOS)
<https://fahrplan.search.ch/> (seems to have problems providing data, currently not shwoing real time)

I have seen references to some sites that publish details of late
trains, and I have seen reference to a system called Rail4 but
overall it is not clear is there is a similar system as Real Time
Trains.
Information about real train times is officially available from
opentransportdata.swiss
But it seems that there is nobody using the information in a map setting. <http://maps.vasile.ch/transit-sbb/> only shows the timetable times, although he is pointing to opentransportdata.swiss in a box.

For thos who want to test it just now: IR 15, that should arrive in Luzern at 21:01 is currently running with +20

Thanks for the clarification. Is it known why it is stored at Geneva Airport? SBB presumably charge a lot for storage.

They are still listed in the HANDELSREGISTER
You better take the direct link to the official entry:
<https://ge.ch/hrcintapp/externalCompanyReport.action?companyOfrcId13=CH-660-1416011-0&ofrcLanguage=1>

However the company is officially registered at the Federal Office of Transport as
CFDL Compagnie du Chemin de fer du Léman
but its VKM is
DDL Dame du Léman

<https://www.bav.admin.ch/bav/de/home/themen-a-z/verzeichnisse/tu-verzeichnis.html>

And then, their licence as Railway Undertaking ended in 2015 so they can't run trains in their own responsibility any more.

The motor coach is registered as
BDe 2/4 94 85 4578 003-3 CH-DDL

Not being fitted with ETCS Level 2, it can no longer be used for extra trains in Lavaux, Lausanne - Villeneuve.

Edited

I was wrong to say that the dinner train operation never started. The operator is/was Compagnie ferroviaire du Léman and some information in French can be read at

https://www.rts.ch/info/regions/vaud/4327729-le-train-gastronomique-d-epoque-la-dame-du-leman-a-ete-inaugure.html

I don't know when they last operated (*), there is no recent online mention of the company I can find and they do not appear to have their own website. They are still listed in the HANDELSREGISTER (the UK equivalent would be registration at Companies' House) https://www.easymonitoring.ch/fr/registre-du-commerce/association-de-la-compagnie-ferroviaire-du-leman-cfdl-1022105

Mystery green power car at Genève Aéroport

My brother landed at Geneva this afternoon and there is a green power car parked in the tunnel at GVA Aeroport station. I thought I'd be able to identify it immediately (looks like an old GFM car or some such) but it's end cab windows don't match anything I can recall)

Any ideas?

Hello,

I see there are some special trains running this Sunday for the 125 Anniversary of the Zurichseebahn. It says there is a steam locomotive running as part of the event. Would anyone know which Locomotive it is?

It seems that at least 387 has already gone into service pulling some of this year's crop of sugar beet loads. Last year, the consortium leased loks from BLS and SRT, but this year, it seems like RailAdventure (Re 6/6), Transrail (Re 421) and WRS are the big winners.
