Those that have been delivered are at the usual site. However, only ASM1, ASM2, BOB, MOB and MVR are already there. The rest will eventually arrive.

Obviously SBB didn't want to do the coupling in Martigny on the way back. So the RE runs behind the normal RA train and produces a later arrival in Vevey, Lausanne and Genève than with the daily connection with IR90. As this IR90 is occupying track 1, the RE from Le Châble starts later so as not to arrive in Martigny until track 1 is free.

The train Genève-Aéroport - Le Châble is IR 1745 that runs coupled with IR 1711 to Martigny. Return is RE 18496, called RE 18460 from Vevey, where it runs daily. It's not correct everywhere but 1711, 1745, 18460 and 18496 are always attributed to "CFF".

Where did you find that "KUB"? I can't see it.

The new style will take a bit of getting used to!
Also some things are not decoded.

The weekend Arosa loco hauled turns are back until 8th March. Two return trips on a Saturday and one on a Sunday, both days booked for a Ge4/4 II (611).

Withdrawal of ex BT NPZ

Edited

Bodensee-Toggenburg put 6 NPZ units into service in 1982, RBDe 4/4 71 to 76. These became SOB 566 071 to 076. All except 72, currently stored serviceable, and 75 have already been withdrawn and the other two will go at the timetable change.

DSF are running a farewell special on December 15th:

Re: New Zurich trams finally ordered

The TAGESANZEIGER reports that VBZ have officially requested permission to take up the option to order another 70 cars from Bombardier. This would see the complete replacement of all Tram 2000 cars

https://www.fahrplanfelder.ch/fileadmin/fap_pdf/Rollstuhl/Zuggattungsliste.pdf

tells you the booked type of train for each service.

Useful for avoiding Bombardier rubbish or to know where 501s can be seen. All VAE trains will be the new Stadler units.

There still appear to be some Re 4/4 II pushpull Brig-Domodossola but it looks as if they will go during the course of the timetable as they are marked EWII or EWIV (train 3017 for example)

Timetable 2020

As of this morning the 2020 (15.12.2019) definitive timetable pdf files are available at www.fahrplanfelder.ch

For the CEVA line that Paul was asking for https://www.fahrplanfelder.ch/fileadmin/fap_pdf_fields/2020/151.pdf

DVZO to run daily from 4 Sep 2020 to 18 Oct 2020

Gbgen

Described as a pilot scheme, DVZO will be running a daily service between Bauma and Hinwil from 4 September 2020 to 18 October 2020.

Daily there will be 3 return trips with historic electrics and on Fri-Sun a further 3 return trips worked by steam. It is likely that they will also use visiting locos from their partners.

RhB Winter loco diagrams published

gordonwis

Published today by RhB, as is usual, on the 'Treasure Trove for Railway Fans' section of the RhB website.

I have not fully digested the diagrams (and have only checked Mon - Fri in any detail) but two key things I spotted at first glance:

no sign of any 'Capricorn' plastic units replacing existing traditional loco hauled on Disentis - Landquart - Scuol/Davos/Filisur (train numbers and timings on new 2020 timetable back this up)

the three Allegra (turns 611-613) diagrams on the Albula expresses are showing as 641 (aka Ge4/4III). This suggests there are now enough 641s modified and updated for use with the Gliederzug sets (positive) but also that there may now be enough Gliederzug driving trailers for deployment on the Albula (negative development especially for photographers and traditionalists who like to see loco run round their consists).

The problem for photography will be that - as RhB persist in adding random vehicles to fixed sets - a Gliedrezug might be push pull with the Dt at the front and the loco at the rear, but concealed by a vehicle (usually a wagon(s) or a Gourmino restaurant)
