Zurichseebahn Anniversary Event Question

co90221

Hello,

I see there are some special trains running this Sunday for the 125 Anniversary of the Zurichseebahn. It says there is a steam locomotive running as part of the event. Would anyone know which Locomotive it is?

Event link for reference:

Thank you,

It seems that at least 387 has already gone into service pulling some of this year's crop of sugar beet loads. Last year, the consortium leased loks from BLS and SRT, but this year, it seems like RailAdventure (Re 6/6), Transrail (Re 421) and WRS are the big winners.

Dates have now changed. The old station closes at end of traffic 07.11.2019 and the new line opens 01.12.2019

421 392 failed at St Gallen on EC 191 today. It was replaced by 11116 which was in turn replaced by an unknown ÖBB loco at St Margrethen.

11116 then worked EC 194 from St Margrethen to Zürich

EC 195 13:02 ex Zürich was worked by 11116 and 421 371. I assume 11116 was removed at St Gallen

Yes, but in regards to the 5 loks that they have been leasing from SBB-P, how many Re 421 (SBBC) are being used daily on SBB-P EC runs to Lindau or Singen?
If SBBC still had use of those Re421, they would not need most of the SBB-P leases.

The problem is that it is cheaper to lease new loks than to update existing models safety and control systems.

Transrail Re 421

Transrail have bought 421 387 and 421 393

The vehicle keeper is listed as International Rolling Stock Investment GmbH

and the full numbers are

91 85 4421 387-2 CH-IRSI

91 85 4421 393-0 CH-IRSI

This is a further sign of the mismanagement of the SBB Cargo Fleet. They are scrapping rather than overhauling Re 4/4 II and selling others yet are so short of power for their own trains that they have been leasing up to five SBB-P locos at one time

BLM have ordered three railcars from Stadler. Full details have not yet been released but the contract was made public on 14.09.2019

Check digit doesn't match for this number (it would be -4), but it matches for 50 85 21-73 396-6 and then it's clear what it was:
a B 21-73 ex Bpm 21-70 ex Bm 21-70 (UIC-Z2)

Had a closer look at the green ex-SBB vehicle outside Thommen this morning for those asking, and under the spray paint it revealed itself as ex-Olten
5085 31-73 396-6

I sent the line-up to another enquirer but not in the group. Photo of the coach is below; it’s 027. The SBB coach second in the line is unidentifiable for graffiti now, it’s then followed by two vans and a tank.

If others would also like updates as the Thommen line changes, I’ll happily provide photos in future as I pass.

They got SBB immatriculation in 1988. In older publications they were listed as 71 80 71-40 8.... I'm not sure if they directly became 71-70 or if some of them also worked as 71-80
