While we are on the subject of elevated forneys I have couple that I'm getting conflicting histories on;
1) Baldwin CN. 13026 11/1892
SOUTH SIDE RAPID TRANSIT #36
CHICAGO SOUTH SIDE ELEVATED #36
MIDLOTHIAN COUNTRY CLUB (IL)
EMPORIUM FORESTRY Co. (Conifer, NY) #38
GRASSE RIVER RR #8
TUPPER LAKE CHEMICAL Co. #8
BUFFALO, ATTICA & ARCADE RR. #7
Bill Gove in his book has Grasse River converting it to a diesel? and scrapping it.
2) Baldwin CN. 8051 7/1886
INTERSTATE RAPID TRANSIT (Kansas City, MO) #4
This engine was rebuilt by Baldwin at a latter date as it had
Baldwin, Burnham & Williams builders plate rather then the proper
Baldwin, Parry & Williams plate. For who?
Thanks for any info you can provide about thwese two forneys.
