MD&S Steam Roster
Don Hensley <donnie@...>
Has anyone other than Richard Prince done a Macon Dublin & Savannah Roster? I'm interested in their early roster 1890-1920 era. They have an 1890 Rome built 4-4-0 at # 89, which is listed as new and Prince misses this one in his roster. The 1918 ICC roster has 100-103 missing, I'm thinking the 4-4-0s were originally here before they started separating the engines into classes. 100-103 is also missing in Prince's roster. Rome serial 615, August 1890, was diverted at factory from a SA&AP order, road number 76.
I keep my builders lists by builders name, so it is hard to track them by railroad. I am working on a program that will scan all of the builders quickly and come up with a list of those which show a specific railroad. Could be ready by year end if all goes well. So I do not have an MD&S roster as such, but when this is set up it would take me 10 seconds or so to come up with one.
