Unending credit to President Jim Hertwig.  And what a spectacular follow up to our magnificent Champion paint scheme, which Mr. Hertwig named.
We are very proud of what he has done and hope you all get to see those stunningly beautiful engines "up close."
PS:  If you are not on the FEC lists you will all be receiving, in the next few days, the invitation to join us on Oct 9, beginning at 5:30 PM at the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book on the 6th floor of the main Broward County library in downtown Ft. Lauderdale for the stunningly beautiful new exhibt, THE GREAT DAYS OF RAIL TRAVEL ON THE FLORIDA EAST COAST, presented by the Broward Library Foundation, Broward County Libraries and the Florida East Coast Railway, with opening reception sponsored by FEC.  Parking is on-street or in the very large city garage right across the street and hope that as many of you as can will try to join us for the opening of this marvelous and absolutely outstanding exhibit.

The FEC Breast Cancer units pulled into Bowden Yard right around 6 PM.  The family & I just happened to be at an FEC crossing in JAX when the gates went down & there they were.  The yellow unit & the red unit in the consist looked like some sort of Genset switchers.  Our daughter Sabal loved seeing the pink choo-choos!
