furnas drum switch

hello, new subscriber here, i have a south bend model a, and i was rewiring a new motor when i found this diagram under the cover of the drum switch. i have searched the internet unsuccessfully for thisdiagram so i thought i would post it here in case someone needs it. cheers, JoeyG

It will depend on the type of motor you have on how to wire it. Attached are a couple documents that may help. Pg 2 in the word document. Some others on the site may be able to help also. If you have the motor plate picture with a circuit drawing, that would help a lot. Al

The motor wiring diagrams are on the right side of the plate: the two squares with dots and lines.

Looks like you have an easy one. Attached is the drawing from Baldor’s web site. You only have to swap #5 & #8. Your switch has the vertical/horizontal bars in it. Vs. the L shape bars. Use the second drawing to wire your motor. T* goes to (1) on the switch T5 Goes to (4) Al
