Carbide Use?
Hey Guys, How are these used (see photo)? Do they need to be sharpened? Is there a specific holder for them? Any use for my SB9c? Thanks, Greg

the rounds were 416ss, and the flats were unknown ss. Got them both cheap/free. I was a bit worried from what I read on working ss, but I had no issues. A bit difficult to tap, but patience won over.

This was my grand plan was, but when I re-chuck, am not confident the top and the bottom of the base will be parallel, not that the bottom of the base will be perpendicular to the shaft.

Trying that as I type. The issue I am stuck on at this moment is that it is using combined gears other than the standard 54/18 and 72/18. I am confident that there is a switch I am missing to restrict
