I have a laser alignment tool made by Avenger Products. Haven't tried it yet. I need to make a target for the tailstock and center/parallel align the laser to its housing. Make a very nice laser point

The parts for the 9" workshop generally have a letter N after the part number. Parts that are common between the 9" and the Light 10" have NK, unless they were made before the introduction of the Ligh

I posted in that thread the info from the Corps of Engineers data plate from a 1952 9". Such data should be the same as the file cards from SBL. The spreadsheet calculates serial 2638 as being in 1913
