new spindle !!
Super finishing, kinda like honing, fine stones and lots of oil. The finish on 10,13,14 1/2, and 16" main bearing diameters were 2 to 4 RMS,cone diameters 8 to 10 RMS(I think). 9/10K were 8 t0 10 RMS

South Bend end gear engineering
The 80 tooth idler has 2 oil holes in it(one on each side) The bushing is sationary and the gear rotates on it. If you need new parts, I have them Ted

Dennis, The hole was drilled from the bottom side in a jig at a 45 degree angle. After the pin is pressed in, it is filed off flush and blended in. Ted
