Thanks all! I finished up the boring bar this morning. It’s a piece of 7/16” 4140 that I was going to use to remake the cross slide screw for an 11” Logan that I sold before I got around to it.

I don't know, because I can't find the top slide or the parts it mounts to at the moment, but I have a vintage 1941 Heavy 10L here in pieces for a slow-going restoration. I shredded my workshop again

Hello, Having seen a South Bend milling slide for a "Heavy Ten" advertised, I wonder if anyone knows if the location hole for the top slide would be the same diameter as that of my SB model "R"
