If I am not mistaken I believe we have set the group to automatically scale attachments to 488 X 488.
That’s attachments only.

Re: We are reaching our "Free" storage limit.
We got grandfathered in when they started the newest pricing scheme. My Metal-Shapers-and-Planers group is about 3600 folks, and only $110 a year. It was also one of the first groups moved over here

Just a courtesy point: I nearly always reduce the file size of photos before emailing or posting. You don't need specialist photo processing software, just the standard windows stuff will allow you

Files aren't so much of a problem as photographs are. They can be pretty large. One of my cameras is a 16mp, though I usually use the cell phone, which is only a 8mp camera. Photos from the cell phone

Re: We are reaching our "Free" storage limit.
I looked at the premium pricing too and when I thought $220 was the number was going to offer to cover the 1st year.
I know it’s a job to moderate groups like this and considerably more of a job

Thanks for digging into the price details, Bill. That's much higher than I expected after looking at the pricing page.

If we do that, it exposes all the email address of all the members to the internet. And IIRC, you cannot change a groups from Private to Public after it's established. I'm pretty sure the answer is

Re: We are reaching our "Free" storage limit.
So far as I can see, Jim B's plan to do nothing is about the best that can be done.
It's getting a lot more expensive to upgrade now. https://groups.io/static/pricing A Premium Group is $20/month,

Re: We are reaching our "Free" storage limit.
Can the files / photos be made available to people who aren't signed in?
I'm also happy to help cover the cost, but I want those to be visible to people who're just trying to find a doc and don't

Thanks Jim, I agree to do nothing. It will still take a while, certainly long enough for us to to review and save photos as we desire.

Re: collets:
The ER40 collets do not have a gap in their range. There are 29 collets in a complete imperial set. Most “sets” sold are not complete. I had to purchase individual collets to make a complete set.
