Let's see if I can post this correctly.  These are the original oils and the current versions.  One problem is that DTE Light only comes in 5 gallons now.  I use it for hydraulics in my surface grinder so I buy 15 gallons at a time.  I buy my oil from MSC but there should be better choices.

Machine Oil Saybolt Universal Viscosity Rating in Seconds @ 100oF
  Type A (100 sec)   Type B (150 - 240 sec)   Type C (250 - 500 sec)   Bed Way Oil (300 - 500 sec)
Original Oil Mobil Velocite Oil 10 (ISO VG 22 - - 20.2 cST @ 40oC viscosity)   Mobil Gargoyle Vactra Oil Light     Mobil Gargoyle Vactra Oil Heavy Medium
Current Oil Mobil Velocite Oil 10 (ISO VG 22 - - 20.2 cST @ 40oC viscosity)   Mobil DTE Light (ISO 32 - - SAE 10)     Mobil DTE Heavy Medium (ISO 68 - - SAE 20)   Mobil Vactra Oil No. 2 (ISO VG 68) - - Medium Way Oil

I just tried on my Droid phone. Some open with Chrome, some don't. For those that didn't open immediately, I could do a long press on the link and open/download/view in a new tab.

Thanks,

Re: Spindle register issue

Just a thought and It's probably way off, but if that is a scroll chuck, you might have put the wrong jaws in the wrong slots.  Each jaw is different depending on the number stamped on the jaw.  In other words the #1 jaw has to go back in the #1 slot and so on, other wise the jaws will not center at all and your work will be way off center.

Catalog 5700 says a CL145B weighs 1510 pounds 'crated' (1940 pounds 'boxed').

The 5 foot bed yields 28" between centers.

I much prefer my 13" over my very nice 9" Model A. MUCH more RIGID.
