N = 9 inch Workshop Model C

C = Standard Change Gear Lathe (SCG) with a Counter Shaft Drive either above (CS) or Horizontal (HMD)

R = Regular spindle through Hole

9 = Model Revision Number (9th revision of the Workshop lathe)
