Thank you for the serial number and ship date Erik, the colors changed a bit over the years.

Another note to put this color in historic perspective...
The lathe number is 127809, and the serial card shows it being shipped out on 6/13/42.

Thank you for the complement.
Attached is the paint code SW mixed for me.
Also is a picture of the original paint on the left and new match to the right.
I masked it off to preserve for historical purposes...
They did a good job matching... the original color has slightly more shine...

Very nice Erik, That color look great, I’d like to have the mix on it if possible!
While not quite as far along as Mike's 9A, my 1942 9A is hot on his heels.
BTW, the paint color was matched to original paint hidden behind the gear box; so protected from sun AND blue spray paint!

Thought I'd share some pic's of my 3 month on and off refurb of my 9A. Tore it down to every last nut and bolt. Put in new felts & wicks. Polished all the parts that I could. I had a new Dayton 1/2 hp motor sitting around for a long time that I put on. Tore the cabinet apart and painted it and installed a new top. It's quiet and smooth and runs great! I'm happy with the way it turned out. Looking forward to making some things. Also Thanks to those who answered a few questions along the way.
