Cannot calibrate SWR in Antenna Anaylser

Christopher Warren <christopherlwarren@...>

I am using version 3.7.1 and need to re-calibrate the SWR.
The SWR window is showing a value of 1.00 : 1, and no matter how may times I turn the rotatory knob I cannot get the SWR to move the slightest and it remains at 1.00.
What am I doing wrong?

Which hardware configuration? What load? Version 3.8 is the current software version.

I am using version 3.7.1  8951 and the PE3 modification.
The load is 150ohms so I expect a 3:1 set.

Typo SWR

Again, the current software version is 3.8 (hint, hint).

Is the DDS running? You should be able to hear it on your receiver. Some of the bogus 8951s need to have the crystal frequency set to 120MHz instead of 180MHz. Also could be a bad solder joint somewhere.

The thing is that the calibration was working perfectly well. Someone else used it and it appears that the eeprom or something else was erased.
Yes I know that version  3.8 is out but I am getting a compiling error with a new nano (L138 I think) and have not sorted it out.
If I can sort out the calibration I can then upgrade.
Thanks and regards
Chris

Erasing the EEPROM wouldn't cause any problems.

The AA uses a mini-Mega processor. If your IDE is set to compile for a Nano, you will get compiler errors!

Thanks John will try that.
