Resurrecting my Sitech observatory

Hi long time no see.
After many years of absence I'm trying to resurrect my observatory.  Unfortunately my Win-xp  PC is beyond repair.  How is the system working under Win10?

I have a system under Win 7 in a virtual machine (vbox).

Wow! does this bring back a lot of really great memories, that is a 245 cookbook water cooled rig? Right.
my rig then was still a crystal clocked synchronous drive with a joystick. My 245 used a 5 gal bucket of ice water!
Well, dust it off, glad your back....

Thanks for the replies guys.  You are saving me tons of time.   Thankfully the data in the ssd drive is intact so I won't need to figure out the config parms again.  It's been so long...

That's an SBIG ST-9 that I modified with a liquid cooled 2 stage Peltier, argon filled ccd chamber and heated optical window.  It can cool the ccd 40C bellow ambient.

I will keep an eye on you, have the feeling I'm about to go back to school as you breathe life back into the observatory.

Hey guys........ I have an old ST2000 free to a good home.  It worked fine last time I fired it up ( many years ago ).

Hi Drew, mono or color? I'm interested if nobody else has snagged it.

Beautiful +6 C day!  For the first time in years I was able to open the observatory roof,  It took lots of oiling and re-greasing.
Electronics are working fine under Win10 control.  So soon the new Fullum mirror will be getting first star light.
