UPDATE - CASE CLOSED I rebooted my PC. (I rarely do this, as I work remotely and hibernate the PC, to be able to access it via Wake-on-Lan and TeamViewer.) I had over a number of days remotely re-inst

Thank you Paul. The USB COM port is COM8 (see screenshot). The mount works fine via that port when I press the arrow keys of the SiTech app, even when SiTech has been opened from SGP or ASCOM Device h

Have you got the com port set up in Sitech ? Does the sitech interface show connected or faking servos? If the com port is available for the ascom device hub (or sgp) then it will show in the windows

Hi Kris, Do you have an antivirus program running or a firewall? Those can prevent a connection, but they should also allow you to set an exemption. Don W

Thanks Don. Howere, that is precisely my point. SGP cannot connect directly to SiTech. SGP hangs. There must be an issue “binding” ASCOM Device Hub or SGP to SiTech. I have repaired ASCOM 6.5, updated

What program are you running that you want to connect to the SiTechexe system? ASCOM is a stand-alone program. You are choosing the wrong setting for SiTech, use SiTechDLL Telescope, not ASCOM.SiTechD
