RECON Environmental is an employee-owned company of specialists representing one of the largest and most established environmental service firms in the Southwest.   Founded in 1972 with the emergence of the National Environmental Policy Act and the California Environmental Quality Act, we have provided nearly four decades of continuous service to our valued clients the federal, public and private sectors.

We are currently looking to add part time/seasonal Resource Monitors for on call assignments in the San Diego area.

Minimum /General Experience:  The Resource Monitor will provide construction monitoring and survey/excavation assistance in the field of archaeology.

Functional Responsibility:  Conducts on-foot field survey and excavations, completes appropriate field survey notes, excavation level notes, plan view and sidewall drawings, and other field duties.. Will work independently while performing construction monitoring and identifies features.  May also be required to assist in the lab or perform data entry tasks in the office.

Minimum Education:  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, history, architecture, or a related field and a minimum of two years directly related experience.

Salary:  $22.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
