Outreach Coordinator



Duties: Develop, implement, and manage initiatives for heritage education, public information, and public outreach using social media, interactive exhibits, public presentations, and 3D technologies to provide factual and understandable information about Louisiana archaeology and cultural heritage to the general public. Develop curriculum materials and resource guides for use in classrooms that meet state educational standards and, when circumstances permit, present programs to school groups and other organizations. These efforts include using digital products, hands-on teaching kits with original or 3D scanned artifacts, dig box exercises, and other activities.
