Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. (Commonwealth), is looking for applicants for various fieldwork opportunities throughout the upper Midwest.
Project work to begin in early October and extend until early December or snow fly. Pay rates and per diem at highly competitive rates.
Qualified candidates should possess, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field and have completed an accredited archaeological field school.
Candidates must have experience identifying and recording prehistoric and historic resources in the Midwest and eastern Plains and a minimum of 6 months of field experience (e.g., survey, testing, data recovery).
Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks (kneeling, stooping, carrying 50 lbs., etc.) in adverse environmental conditions (e.g., rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures. Candidates should also have good organizational
skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks.
