Water, Civil, and Environmental Inc. (WCE Inc.) of Boise, Idaho is currently looking for 1-3 archaeological field technicians for an upcoming project in northeast Utah. Work is scheduled to begin on November 3, 2020 and last for approximately
7-9 days. Field technicians will assist the Principal Investigator and Field Director in completing redocumentation of historic and precontact archaeological sites in preparation for a Multiple Property Submission nomination for the National Register of Historic
Places. Associated tasks include site recordation, photography, and GPS data collection.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and will range from $18-25/hour. Single occupancy lodging will be provided, and meals will be expensed in accordance with current GSA rates. Successful applicants will be compensated for travel
to and from the project.
Qualifications:

At least 3-6 months of field experience

Experience with Great Basin, Colorado Plateau, and Southwest archaeology

BA/BS in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field strongly advised but not required

Ability to endure adverse environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, precipitation, and challenging terrain for sustained durations

Experience using GPS units
