BRIC is seeking an Archaeological Field Supervisor to carryout field work and assist in report writing for pedestrian survey and Shovel testing for projects on the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation lands in/near Livingston, Texas. This will be a part-time, hourly role. Possible continued work after this project depending on projects and performance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: The selected candidate will perform archaeology duties in field for various BRIC clients. This may include pedestrian surveying, recording, and excavation.
Job Qualifications (Education/ Skills and Experience):
Minimum Level of Education: Master’s Degree archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
Certifications: Required: Must have MA or MS in archaeology/anthropology, must have 5 years of CRM based work. Must have 1 year of Texas project experience Preferred: # years + of Texas CRM experience
Must be able to pass a standard background check
