Seeking 3-4 Temporary Field Techs in Northern California

Modoc County, California is seeking 3-4 SOI qualified archaeological technicians for cultural resources documentation / recordation efforts on the Modoc National Forest. Local and / or regional persons are preferred. Attendance at an Accredited Field School is required. Work is expected to last approximately 2 months, beginning 21 June 2021 and running through 13 August 2021. The successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to hike up to 5 miles cross-country with necessary field gear. Housing will be provided as a single-occupancy hotel room in Alturas. Compensation is set at $17 / hr. Please send a resume with three professional references to Karl R.
