Architectural Historian Field Supervisor An Architectural Historian Field Supervisor (Research Associate II) position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) to provide technical guidance and daily oversight of field survey-related activities at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). For more career opportunities, and to learn more about CEMML’s contributions to land management, our mission, vision, and values, please visit http://www.cemml.colostate.edu/ The Architectural Historian will research INL’s historic buildings and structures, assist with the evaluation of historic properties in accordance with the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility criteria, and record inventory information in the Idaho State Historical Society (ISHS) database. The position also entails assisting off-site CEMML supervisor with compiling field research and archival data into a final report to be submitted to the INL. The Architectural Historian Field Supervisor is responsible for the following:
This position shall work from a home office or other remote location with regular fieldwork conducted at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) in Southeastern Idaho. The Department of Energy (DOE) oversees the INL, which is a federal reserve of approximately 890 square miles on the northeastern edge of the Snake River Plain. This is a 12-month position with the possibility of extension. Relocation and home office expenses may be available; conditions apply.
