Archaeological Field Technicians needed by CRA in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah

Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. is currently seeking additional field techs for three separate upcoming cultural resource projects in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming  Field work is expected to start in late August and extend into September, with the possibility of then continuing on into October.  A bachelor’s degree in anthropology, attendance in a field school, and prior field experience are required. Experience conducting pedestrian survey in the western US is preferred.

The Colorado project work schedule will be divided into two separate Class III (Phase I) inventories: the first being 10 days and the second being 7 days in duration.  Compensation will not be provided for non-work days on Saturdays and Sundays. Overtime is not anticipated, but will be paid for any work completed over 40 hours in a single work week.  Per diem is $40 a day and with single occupancy hotel rooms.  These projects will be conducted out of CRA’s Longmont Colorado office.

The Wyoming project is also a Class III inventory.   The work schedule is 16 days in duration with Sundays off.  Overtime is anticipated and will be paid at time and half.  Hotel will be paid on Sundays.  Per diem is $30 per work day with single occupancy hotels.  Field technicians must provide their own STEEL TOE BOOTS all other personal protective equipment will be provided by CRA.  This project will be conducted out of Riverton, Wyoming.

The Utah project schedule is still being determined.  This work will consist of Class III inventories and data recovery. Per diem will be $40 a day with single occupancy hotel rooms (if available).  Work will be conducted out of Moab, Utah.
