The BRIC, LLC, cultural resources program is expanding our team and looking for dynamic individuals who are following their passion in delivering the highest-quality project work. BRIC is a tribal owned, 8a enterprise and subsidiary of the Dine Development Corporation.
This position will be based in the mid-Atlantic region. The Cultural Resources Project Principal/Project Director will support the Navy and other clients. Your role will be to lead the technical component of archaeological projects to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory sufficiency as part of a larger project management team, or in managing your own projects, as assigned. You will also be expected to play a leadership role in the program including mentoring junior staff, encouraging teamwork and cooperation, and driving overall scientific and business excellence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of field research, data collection, inventory, analysis, and final report production to ensure compliance with BRIC’s high-quality standards for technical work, agency requirements and guidelines, and general standards of scientific quality. Additional project management duties as needed: manage budgets, prepare proposals, interact with clients, and manage staff. As needed, author large technical reports, research designs, treatment plans and other technical documents. Maintain good working relationships with state and federal agency contacts and clients following relevant work protocols.
Job Qualifications (Education/Skills & Experience) • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology required; PhD preferred
