ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIANS

Applied EarthWorks (Æ) is accepting resumes for our hiring pool for upcoming projects based in L.A., Fresno, San Luis Obispo, and Lompoc.

Æ is a consulting firm specializing in history, archaeology, cultural resources management (CRM) and paleontology. Field technicians are responsible for carrying out field excavation, surveys, and monitoring in support of upcoming projects. Local candidates preferred.

Pay will be appropriate to capabilities and experience. When applicable, per diem and lodging will be provided.

• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related field.
• At least 1 year of field experience with archaeological survey and/or excavation.
• Experience in California archaeology and completion of an archaeology field school.
• Knowledge of and basic operation of GPS technology.
