Job Description AmaTerra Environmental, Inc., an award-winning, woman-owned, small business is seeking a Project Archaeologist/Field Director for the Austin, Texas office. This is a permanent, full time position. The successful applicant will work alongside our existing staff serving a variety of federal, state, municipal, and private clients. Candidates must have an advanced degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field and four or more years of professional archaeological experience working on surveys, testing and data recovery projects, and/or in the lab.

Job responsibilities will include planning field projects, leading field crews on various survey, testing and data recovery projects, report writing, client interface, working with junior and senior staff in the Austin and Las Cruces Offices, and other duties as assigned.
