Archaeological Field Technicians needed in Tennessee (no you don't have to "Volunteer" just because it is Tennessee!)

Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. is currently seeking archaeological field technicians for multiple Phase II testing projects in Middle Tennessee. The first Phase II project is scheduled to start October 2. The work schedule will consist of ten (10) consecutive work days and will end on October 11. The second Phase II is scheduled to begin on October 16 and will also consist of ten (10) consecutive work days through October 25.  A bachelor’s degree in anthropology, attendance in a field school, and prior archaeological experience are required. Preference will be given to those applicants with previous field experience in the southeast region and with buried site archaeology experience. It is imperative that the candidate be able to work 8 hour days in a variety of conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of this position. Safety vests, work boots, and hard hats will be mandatory. CRA will provide safety vests and hard hats, if requested.  Work days will consist of eight (8) hour days and will begin and end at the hotel. Per diem will be range from $45-$55 per day depending on the project, with single occupancy lodging provided.  Compensation will be based on experience.
