Archaeological Monitor, $25/hour, Estimated 15 months of monitoring

Gulf South Research Corporation (GSRC) is looking for an archaeological monitor for construction activities on the Tohono O’odham Nation.  An ideal candidate would be local to the Tucson area.  The monitoring project is estimated to last 15 months.  Work days would be 9 to 12 hour days and overtime would be paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours in each pay period.  Candidates should have:

·         B.A/B.S. in Anthropology, Archaeology or a related field

·         Completion of archaeological field school

·         Minimum of 1 year experience conducting archaeological monitoring in a construction environment.
