Beaver Creek Archaeology (BCA) headquartered in Bismarck, North Dakota, is currently seeking to fill a vacancy for an archaeological office
support position. The candidate should have a college degree in Archaeology or a closely related field. The primary emphasis of this position would be assisting the archaeological report writers up to and becoming a reliable asset for writing reports. After
a probationary period, should the applicant desire, the position would be eligible to become full-time with benefits. Depending on past experience and qualifications, a starting compensation range of $13.00- $17.00 per hour (with the possibility for negotiation
for an exceptional candidate).
The applicant must be detail oriented with the capability to critically think. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are a must as well as the ability to communicate
with an array of individuals with different communication styles. The applicant should have a thorough understanding and application of English grammar preferably in SAA as well as Turabian and then by default the CMS stylized format. The applicant must be
proficient at utilizing Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. Furthermore, the applicant must be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced office environment with an ability to excel at multiple tasks with an evolving status of importance and timelines.
