PaleoWest Archaeology is looking to immediately hire multiple archaeological field technicians for an East Texas project, based out of our south-central region office in Austin, Texas. The project begins the last week in June, lasting 4-6 weeks.

PaleoWest is a technology-forward company that places an emphasis on high-quality data collection and archaeological standards. Experience and adaptability using technology is encouraged.

This position requires a B.A. or B.S. degree in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field. The position also requires an archaeological field school or demonstrated equivalent experience. Experience in the region is preferred, and regional and local candidates will be prioritized.

Fieldwork may include adverse environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, precipitation, and challenging terrain for sustained durations.
