Archaeologists/ Archaeological Technicians (Crew Chief level) for a 6 month project in Wyoming. The majority of the project will be near Rawlins and will start in May and June. Archaeologists will be expected to take detailed field notes, observe and excavate archaeological features during construction, record provenience of the finds and write report.
Day rates range between 300-450/day, plus daily per diem and mileage reimbursement. This project also offers a comprehensive health, dental, vision and 401k package.
· BA in anthropology/archaeology, history or architecture
· Professional cultural resource management experience in cultural contexts and environmental settings
· Ideal candidate should have either been previously listed on a Wyoming BLM Cultural Resource Use Permit (CRUP) at the Crew Chief level (the qualifications for which are listed in BLM publication 8150), or have the qualifications necessary to be listed on the WY BLM CRUP.
· The work week is anticipated to be 6 days (Monday – Saturday), 10-12 hours per day.
