R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. (RCG&A) has an immediate opening for a Lab Supervisor in our Lawrence, Kansas office. The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in anthropology or archeology, a graduate degree in anthropology or museum studies, have completed an accredited archeological field school, have a minimum of two years of experience working with archeological collections and curation standards, and proficiency with databases and spreadsheets. Background in historic archeology of the Great Plains, and experience in Canvas, Acrobat Professional, and digital photography is preferred. Because this position includes supervisory responsibilities, demonstrated organizational and supervisory skills are required. Opportunities for advancement to significant management responsibilities are available for the right candidate. Must be able to commute to the Lawrence, Kansas office on a daily basis. Local and out of town field work also may be required.
This is a full-time, salaried position that includes paid holidays; health and dental insurance (available after 2 full months continuous employment; annual leave; and 401(k) participation (after one year). Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
