Hello, my name is Janet Matthews and I'm descended from Philip McIntire, George Thompson, and John Upton. My Thompson and Upton connections were short. Their children John Upton and Sarah Thompson married and their daughter Mary married Philip McIntire's son Samuel. I'm descended from both Samuel and his brother David. Their grandchildren Hezekiah and Anna married each other. My McIntire line comes down to my grandmother Maud McIntire. The Philip McIntire book has my mother's birth and marriage and the revised edition has the births of my 3 older brothers. Unfortunately I wasn't born quite early enough to make it!
