Introduction

Eve Hiatt

Sandy,

My husband descends from SPOW George Darling through his son John Darling (1658-1719) and Naomi Flanders (out of wedlock). His line proceeds through:  We would be delighted to share the Y-DNA confirmation of this line and compare what we have learned from other descendants of George.

Hello Eve,

Is your husband in the society’s Scottish Prisoners Project at FamilyTreeDNA? There is also a Dennis Darling of Braintree project which seeks George Darling descendants to confirm that these two men are unrelated. At present there is only one George Darling descendant and he is in both projects.

Best wishes

Andrew

I have shared DNA results and I matched with another George Darling decendent which helps to confirm our lineage.
