Hello,
I am a descendant of John MacBean, Henry Magoon and possibly John Magoon. When I was in Dunbar last year, they had a program on the SPOWs. I was told by the museum staff
that John Magoon was Henry’s brother. Not sure though.
Cheers,
P. Grace MacBean-Puchino
Welcome Grace,
I’m doubtful that there is any close relationship between John and Henry Magoon. Apart from their shared surname, I’m not aware of any evidence to connect them. They don’t seem to have had anything to do with one another in New England.
Best wishes
Andrew
