This morning (3/9/21) at La Jolla Colony, the BALTIMORE ORIOLE continued in the central portion of the park accompanied by a WESTERN TANAGER. The GRACE'S WARBLER was in its usual pine tree at the south end along with a BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER.
A Massachusetts birder (his ebird report will follow) put me on the PAINTED REDSTART at Standley Middle School. It seems to have moved south of the Tipu grove to pine trees. The Tipus are looking pretty ragged now.
