This evening, March 2nd, over 60 Swainson's Hawks (probably more) dropped into the Date Farm (formally Evans Farm) at 5:45pm. Around 75 Turkey Vultures are also roosting in the same area. The wind will be light tomorrow morning so lift off will take place around 8:30-9am. Best viewing is on Borrego Valley Rd 1.8 miles north of Palm Canyon Rd or the junction of  DiGiorgio Rd and Big Horn. To be added to the ALERT List send an email to:
