Ornithologist meeting on Tuesday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m.
This will be a Zoom
meeting – the link for the meeting will be sent out on Monday, March 20.
Program: Nathan Goldberg will speak on “Islands and Mangroves, Forests and Beaches: Remote Birding throughout Indonesia and Bangladesh.”
While much of his travel is for work, back in November 2022, Nathan and some friends took 45 days and toured throughout Sumatra and Bangladesh in search of some of the world's rarest and little-known birds. Between 15 hour ferry rides on banana boats, to leech-covered muddy trails, this talk will be full of adventures, misadventures, and everything in between.
