Phalaropes in South Bay
This morning (09/08/21) around 8 AM, I had over 77 phalaropes at the Hollister St. Pond. It was incidental, as I was working, so no scope or binoculars. The ones I could ID by sight were Red-Necked. But if you’re looking for great photos, or looking to scan through for anything special, it’s a great spot. They were pretty close to shore at the viewing deck and in range for great photos.
